Malatar the Minotaur
Deep under the ground is an elaborate monster-filled maze ruled over by the bloodthirsty minotaur, Malatar! For years he has lurked underground, laying traps and hoarding wealth. Recently, he has been goading the denizens of the surface world into his horrible labyrinth, but to what end? What dastardly scheme does Malatar have up his sleeve?
Lowly Sniveling Bork
Bork is the lowest goblin on the totem pole, and the others make sure he never forgets it. Although small and cowardly, he possesses a level of cunning uncommon to most goblins. Because he lacks physical strength, Bork uses his brains to take advantage of any opportunity to get ahead.
Kermiel of the Virtues
Kermiel is a mid-level angel in the Second Sphere of the Hierarchy of Angels, the order of the Virtues. His duty is to maintain the cosmic balance of good and evil in the universe. This includes assignments such as hunting evil creatures, forgiving sins, and being a guardian angel to to the virtuous. Kermiel gets his orders from the Archangel Uriel, and although he does his best to follow them, he is not always successful. Unlike most of his kind, Kermiel has a deep well of personal feelings and a desire to make his own choices, something that is forbidden to angels. It is not only his strong devotion to his duty and his cause that keeps Kermiel in line, but also the knowledge of how terrible the consequences will be if he strays from his appointed path.
Dannikka the Elf
Dannikka the Elf lives in the Golden Glen as part of the Faerie Legion. Her job is to patrol the forest, hunt for food, and generally keep everyone safe. She is an elf who is not afraid to speak her mind. Her Queen, who is used to people agreeing with her, often gets angry with her for her outspoken nature, but for the most part recognizes that Dannikka only wants what she thinks is best for the Faerie Legion.
Smoov Red
Smoov Red is the consigliere to the powerful crime boss, Don Dragoni. He is known throughout Red Rock for his particularly flashy style and panache. Smoov has a great appreciation for the finer things in life, like good food, sharp clothes and lovely ladies.
King Humphrey XXX
The thirtieth in a long line of King Humphreys, he rules over the once mighty Knights of the Blue Bullseye! Though their numbers are greatly reduced, the King believes they will regain their former glory by retrieving the ancient relic that was stolen from them so long ago, the Blue Bullseye, which is now set firmly in Malatar’s own eye socket. Perhaps their numbers would be larger if the King didn’t insist on the knights wearing the symbol of the Bullseye on their chests, but alas, that thought would never be allowed to penetrate the King’s thick skull.
